Rep. Emily Gise, R-Oklahoma City, has been named one of the 2025 recipients of the Council of State Governments’ 20 Under 40 Leadership Award. The award recognizes young state officials who demonstrate dedication, collaboration, and service to their communities.
According to a statement from the Oklahoma House of Representatives, Gise expressed her gratitude for being included among this year’s honorees. The CSG’s 20 Under 40 program highlights public officials who exemplify the organization’s values of civility, cooperation, and innovation in state governance.
David Adkins, CSG executive director and CEO, commended the recipients for their leadership and contributions to their states. The honorees, including Gise, will be formally recognized during the CSG National Conference, scheduled for December 9–13 in Chicago. The event will bring together leaders from across the country for policy discussions and recognition of public service achievements.
