Students and faculty at Oral Roberts University participated in Criminal Justice Day on Friday last week, where the Tulsa Police Department showcased various aspects of law enforcement operations. The event provided insight into police work and aimed to connect students interested in public safety with professionals in the field.
According to the Tulsa Police Department's Facebook post, specialized units including the Training Division, Bomb Squad, Special Operations Team (SOT), Motorcycle Unit, Aviation Unit, and SPYDR (Detective Division) attended the event. Officers demonstrated their equipment and allowed students to try a mini obstacle course simulating some physical challenges of police work. The Broken Arrow Police Department also participated, featuring their mounted unit.
