On a bustling Tuesday afternoon in Palo Alto, an unsettling encounter unfolded that now prompts a police investigation: a high school-aged girl was subjected to an indecent exposure by an unidentified man. As reported by the Palo Alto Police Department, the incident occurred on Tuesday, roughly around 4:26 PM, in the 100 block of Embarcadero Road.
While minding her business and walking eastbound, the young female victim was rudely approached by a man who initially appeared to ask for directions. Yet, the situation quickly deteriorated when he exposed himself, the Palo Alto Police Department noted that the assailant displayed his phone towards his waist in a deceptive maneuver to disguise his intent until he revealed that his pants were undone and he was exposing his genitals. Despite the shocking experience, after the encounter, the victim continued on and later informed the police about what had transpired.
The description of the suspect, as provided by the victim and relayed by the police, characterizes him as potentially of Indian or Middle Eastern descent, estimated to be around 30 years of age, donned in a long-sleeve collared shirt with black pants, with distinctly thick and styled hair, a mustache connected to his beard, thick eyebrows, and dark eyes.
