Heads up, Phelps County commuters: some pavement repairs are about to put a minor cramp in your travel plans. According to the Missouri Department of Transportation, or MoDOT, the I-44 off-ramps at Route J (Exit 169) near St. Robert will be getting a facelift next week. Specifically, this means the eastbound and westbound ramps will be out of commission for parts of two days, potentially throwing a wrench into your usual routes.
The work is set to commence on Tuesday, Oct. 14, and wrap up by the end of Wednesday, Oct. 15. During this time, from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. each day, the ramps will be closed — so you'll need to quickly plan to take an alternate path, as per MoDOT's advisory
