The survey, which is designed to measure the satisfaction of city services among residents, has been available since September and is now in its final stretch, with the deadline for submission set for Tuesday, Oct. 14.
According to a bulletin from the City of Plymouth, surveys were initially sent out to 4,000 randomly chosen households earlier in the month. Now, the city has expanded the opportunity to participate to all its residents, urging them to take the survey online. Respondents who were directly mailed a survey are especially encouraged to use the online link to quickly and efficiently submit their feedback before the upcoming deadline.
This survey exercise is part of an established tradition for Plymouth, with the city having committed to conducting such reviews every three years. The consistency of this approach is aimed at accurately tracking and responding to the shifting sentiments and needs of the community. The last times the surveys were conducted were in 2019 and 2022, making this year's survey a crucial touchpoint for the local government in its ongoing efforts to maintain open dialogue with its citizens.
The results from the survey will not simply gather dust on some bureaucrat's desk.
