This family-friendly event, pegged for 10 a.m. to 12 p.m. on November 8 at the Plymouth Community Center, 14800 34th Ave. N, is the city's latest effort to commemorate National STEM/STEAM Day. Children four years of age and older, when accompanied by an adult, can traverse through a variety of scientific domains, with hands-on activities that promise to entertain while they educate. An adult and child duo can snag this educational opportunity at a bargain - Plymouth residents at $20 or non-residents at $25, with each additional participant being an extra $10 charge.
In collaboration with the STEM Lab of Minnesota, the city is offering experiences that involve some seriously cool science and tech activities. According to the City of Plymouth bulletin, these include "balloon-powered hovercraft, catapults, mini robots and squishy science."
