Ronison Exavier, a 24-year-old assistant athletic director at Highlands Christian Academy in Pompano Beach, has been arrested and charged with multiple counts related to allegations of inappropriately touching students. According to NBC Miami, Exavier faces three counts of soliciting or engaging in sexual conduct by an authority figure, two counts of touch or strike battery, and two counts of lewd or lascivious molestation.

Shortly after the allegations came to light, Exavier's employment status took a turn. Initially placed on administrative leave, he was later terminated and banned from campus as well as all school-related activities. In a statement obtained by WSVN, Highlands Christian Academy emphasized that "Mr. Exavier has been terminated as an employee and is no longer permitted on the school campus or at any school-related activities."

The investigation into the allegations was launched following a report to the head of the school, which in turn led to notification of the Florida Department of Children and Families. Additional allegations surfaced after meetings with school officials, the student's family, and representatives from the Broward County Sheriff's Office were conducted.

In court today, Exavier appeared before Broward Circuit Court Judge Corey Friedman, where the terms of his bond were set at $75,000. "If and when you do bond out, sir, you’ll be on pretrial GPS Level 2," Judge Friedman stated, according to WSVN. Preconditions were also set, stating, “I am ordering no victim contact; that applies to both the alleged victims in this matter, no contact with minors. I am granting an exception for family members, and I’m also ordering no presence. You can’t be on or about any Broward schools properties.”

While details leading to Exavier's arrest were not fully disclosed, NBC Miami has indicated that their efforts to obtain the arrest report are ongoing. Both schools and local authorities have stated they are cooperating fully with investigations to ensure a thorough and impartial process. The safety and well-being of students at Highlands Christian Academy remain a "top priority," the school has affirmed.
