Get ready to sail in style as PortMiami gears up to welcome an impressive fleet of 10 new cruise ships for the 2025-2026 season. Miami's premier port will be home to a variety of vessels, from the elegance of Cunard's Queen Elizabeth to the modern flair of Virgin Voyages' Brilliant Lady. Miami-Dade County Mayor Daniella Levine Cava couldn't be happier, as quoted from a press release: "The arrival of these new ships reinforces Miami’s role as the global hub for cruising, and reflects our strong commitment to growing tourism, supporting jobs, and strengthening our local economy."

October welcomes Cunard’s Queen Elizabeth and Virgin Voyages’ Brilliant Lady to kick-start the season, and cruise aficionados can expect a steady unveiling of the rest, including Holland America’s Zuiderdam and Celebrity Cruises’ Celebrity Xcel arriving in November, followed by MSC Cruises’ Grandiosa in December. According to the same press release, PortMiami celebrated a landmark in the previous season, boasting the busiest cruise passenger day in its history.

The season promises to continue its momentum well into 2026 with the introduction of Windstar Cruises’ Star Seeker in January, Holland America’s Eurodam in February, and Norwegian Cruise Line’s Norwegian Luna expected to pick up in March. Silversea Cruises’ Silver Nova is scheduled to bring the season to a close in May. PortMiami demonstrates its dedication to a robust cruise industry and the overall health of their local economy by continually investing in such partnerships and improvements.

Hydi Webb, PortMiami’s Director and CEO, expressed excitement for the new additions, as well as gratitude towards the cruise lines for their partnership. "We are excited to welcome these new ships and their passengers to Miami," Webb told the press. "Each new arrival underscores the strong partnerships we’ve built with our cruise lines and reaffirms Miami’s role as the world’s premier cruise destination." The port, known as both the Cruise Capital of the World® and the Cargo Gateway of the Americas, plays a substantial role in Miami-Dade County’s economy, contributing to jobs and an annual economic impact estimated at $61 billion.
