Motorists who use Ridgewood Drive should prepare for a full road closure between Airline Drive and Colapissa Street starting at 7 a.m. on Monday next week. Both lanes will remain closed until the evening of January 12, 2026, according to Jefferson Parish website.
The closure will allow for major infrastructure improvements, including the installation of utility crossings and upgrades to concrete roadways and driveways. Detour signs will direct drivers to use North Labarre Road as an alternate route. The project’s completion date may be affected by weather conditions, but officials are aiming to finish by mid-January.
