The National Weather Service in Salt Lake City has delivered a forecast promising largely clear skies and mild temperatures for the coming week. According to the National Weather Service, locals can expect to see widespread haze, but they should enjoy sunny conditions today with highs reaching around 60 degrees Fahrenheit, and calm winds making for a pleasant, if slightly hazy, autumn day.
Tonight, the haze is predicted to persist as clouds start to gather, bringing lows to a comfortable zone of around 42 degrees. While preparations for any outdoor activities should definitely not split any hairs about the haze, it is probably good to carry a light jacket for those planning to stay out past sunset. The calm conditions will continue into Friday with mostly cloudy skies initially that are expected to clear up, hitting highs close to 61 degrees.
As for the weekend, the forecast shared by the NWS on their website suggests that it will be mostly sunny with calm winds throughout. Saturday should warm to a high of 66 degrees, providing a perfect day for park-goers and hikers alike. When the sun sets, the temperature will dip to a low of around 46 degrees, hinting at just a slight chill in the autumn air.
Looking forward to the early parts of next week, the same pattern of sunny days and partially cloudy nights is set to continue. Highs are expected to steadily hover in the upper 60s, a nod to the lingering grace of fall's mild climate. Monday and Tuesday both are set to bring highs of about 69 degrees, with lows around 48 degrees, providing near-perfect conditions to possibly split the difference between enjoying daytime outings and evening soirees.
