Residents and commuters in Sevierville, mark your calendars for some traffic disruptions next week. The City of Sevierville has announced a repaving project that will affect several streets. Beginning on Monday, October 27, contractors will start resurfacing work on Maggie Mack Lane, Timber Lodge Lane, and Saddleback Way. The Sevierville Police Department released the information in a social media post, giving residents a heads-up about the upcoming construction.
The repaving is scheduled to span from October 27 to October 29, contingent on weather and other potential delays. Daily operations will run from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. during which traffic will be maintained; however, drivers should anticipate short-term delays. The Police Department's notice stressed that motorists in the area should be prepared for "slowed/stopped traffic, changing traffic patterns, and workers and equipment in the area."
