The California Highway Patrol has issued a Silver Alert for Sandra Payton, a 68-year-old woman who was reported missing in San Jose. Payton, who is described as 5'6" in height, weighing approximately 120 pounds, and having brown hair and eyes, was last seen yesterday, around 0830 hours. According to CHP alerts, she was wearing a black jacket, gray shirt, gray sweats, and gray shoes at the time of her disappearance.
Authorities are urging the public to be on the lookout for Payton, who is believed to start wandering on foot quickly. The CHP activated the Silver Alert, a notification system to broadcast information about missing persons, especially seniors with dementia or Alzheimer's, on behalf of the San Jose Police Department.
