Drivers in St. Charles Parish should prepare for several road closures and detours in the coming weeks. Sealevel Construction has fully closed CC Road for the Montz No. 1 pump station project. According to the St. Charles Parish website, the closure began earlier this month and will continue through November 21 to allow for the safe installation of battered piles, which requires placing a crane boom over the roadway. Drivers are advised to follow posted detour signs during this period.
Additional traffic disruptions are in effect. Jonathan Street in Destrehan is closed until further notice, but emergency vehicles can access Noel Street via Bunge’s heavy haul road.
Work on Ormond Center Court in Destrehan has also caused a closure between 150 Ormond Center Court and 3001 Ormond Blvd. A detour is in place to allow access around the area, ensuring that nearby businesses remain reachable.
