St. Charles Parish residents are invited to attend a Budget Hearing today, where the Parish Council will discuss the financial plans for the upcoming fiscal year. The hearing will begin at 1:00 p.m. in the Council Chambers, located on the second floor of the Courthouse at 15045 River Road in Hahnville.
According to the St. Charles Parish’s official website, the main agenda item will be an ordinance to approve and adopt the appropriation of funds for the St. Charles Parish Consolidated Operating and Capital Budget for Fiscal Year 2026. Residents will have the opportunity to review and comment on proposed allocations affecting infrastructure, public services, and other community priorities.
A second session for additional public input is scheduled for Monday next week, before the budget is finalized. Information and updates about the hearings are available on the St. Charles Parish's official website for those unable to attend in person.
