The St. Charles Parish Council is set to hold its next meeting on October 20, with a full agenda that includes proposed ordinance changes, contract approvals, and public works discussions. The meeting will take place at 6:00 p.m. in the council chambers located at 15045 River Road in Hahnville, where residents are invited to attend and participate in local government proceedings, as per an announcement on the Parish's official website.
Items scheduled for public hearing and comment include proposed changes to document copy fees with the addition of a new subsection (d), and a contract worth nearly $5 million for the Des Allemands Boat Launch project. Cycle Construction Company, LLC is set to handle the construction. The agenda also includes adjustments to previous project contracts involving changes to both costs and timelines.

Additionally, reports from the Public Works Department and updates from the Parish President will be presented to inform the public about progress, plans, and future strategies.
