The St. Charles Parish Council will hold its next meeting on Monday next week at 6:00 p.m. in the Council Chambers at 15045 River Road in Hahnville. According to the St. Charles Parish notice, the agenda includes several ordinances and resolutions related to zoning, budget appropriations, and parish contracts. Public hearings and comments will be accepted during the session.
Key items include a proposed zoning reclassification on Paul Frederick Drive requested by Calvin D. Preston and the adoption of the Parish’s consolidated operating and capital budget for Fiscal Year 2026. Contracts for engineering services are also up for consideration, with Principal Engineering, Inc. recommended for the Fairfield and Oakland Drainage Improvements and Hartman Engineering, Inc. for the Ellington Structures – Cousins Pump Station T-Wall project.
ELOS Environmental, LLC is being considered for environmental services for the Turtle Pond Pump Station and Fairfield and Oakland Drainage Improvements. Pintail Contracting Services, LLC is expected to receive a $2.78 million contract for upgrades to the Water Treatment Plant West Bank D Plant Clarifier.
The council will also review cooperative agreements for Boutte Community Park, Killona Park, and Des Allemands Bulkhead, totaling $290,000 in funding for improvements to local recreational spaces. Reports from the Louisiana Public Service Commission, the Department of Wastewater, and the Parish President are also scheduled.
