Motorists in St. Charles Parish are advised to prepare for road closures affecting CC Road, Jonathan Street, and Ormond Center Court due to ongoing maintenance and construction work.
According to the St. Charles Parish’s official website, CC Road, also known as Highway 628, remains closed for a pump station maintenance project and is expected to reopen on Friday. Jonathan Street in Destrehan is also closed with no specified reopening date. Emergency vehicles are allowed to use Bunge’s heavy haul road to access Lorraine Street and Noel Street.
In Destrehan, Ormond Center Court is closed between Reginelli's Pizza and Buddy's Frostop. A detour has been established to redirect traffic, though the reopening date has not been announced.
