St. Charles Parish residents gathered earlier this month for the Nick Lege Fundraiser, organized by the St. Charles Parish Sheriff’s Office and Fraternal Order of Police, to support the family of Nicholas Lege.
According to a St. Charles Parish Sheriff's Office's Facebook post, the event sold over 560 plates of food, raising $10,300 for the Lege family.
Lt. Jack Gilboy thanked the community for their support and contributions. The fundraiser lasted just under three hours and aimed to provide financial assistance to the family during their current difficulties.
