
A homicide investigation is underway in St. Louis County following a shooting that claimed the life of an adult male on last night. According to a press release from the St. Louis County Police Department, officers from the North County Precinct responded to a call at 8:58 p.m. in the 9200 block of Worlds Fair Drive.
Upon arrival, officers discovered the male victim with fatal gunshot injuries and he was pronounced dead at the scene. A second victim, also an adult male, was found to have self-transported to a local hospital for a gunshot wound which was reported to be non-life-threatening. Detectives have identified a person of interest in connection with the shooting, who is currently in custody.
The department's Bureau of Crimes Against Persons has taken charge of the investigation, which remains active. The police are continuing to gather evidence and witness statements which could offer insights into the circumstances of the homicide.
