On a calm morning, turmoil descended upon Towson University as a student found themselves the victim of a violent assault in one of the campus parking lots. According to the Towson University Police, the incident occurred around 8:55 a.m. in Parking Lot 11, as reported by FOX Baltimore.
The student reported being tailed by an individual in a dark-colored sedan before the suspect exited his vehicle, launched an assault on the student, and damaged the tire of the student’s vehicle, then he fled the area in his vehicle. The series of events unfolded rapidly, leaving the student shocked and the campus community on alert. The Towson University Police have yet to identify the suspect and are reaching out to the community for assistance, as noted by WMAR-2 News.
Investigations into the assault continue as university police canvass for more information and ask for any witnesses to come forward. The University issued a safety alert following the incident, urging anyone with knowledge of the attack to contact the Towson University Police Department at 410-704-4444.
