The Metropolitan Police Department (MPD) has arrested a suspect in connection with a robbery that occurred in Southeast D.C. on Friday last week. According to the Metropolitan Police Department report, the incident took place around 11:44 a.m. at the corner of 8th Street and Heights Alley, where suspects threatened a victim, stole money, and fled the scene.
Officers arrested 23-year-old Davon Lindsey of Southeast D.C. the same day. He has been charged with Robbery (Fear).
The investigation remains ongoing as detectives work to identify additional suspects. The Metropolitan Police Department is asking anyone with information to contact them at (202) 727-9099 or text the department’s tip line at 50411. A reward of up to $1,000 is available for information leading to an arrest and indictment in the case.
