
San Francisco Police have reported an arrest in the Mission District stabbing case that jolted the community last Thursday. At approximately 6:36 PM, officers rushed to the 2600 block of Mission Street in response to the incident.
The victim, an adult male found with stab wounds, was swiftly transported to the hospital. His injuries were deemed non-life-threatening, according to the official social media post from the San Francisco Police.

Witness accounts and a detailed description from dispatch played a vital role in the quick apprehension of the suspect near the scene. Made possible by the observant eyes of passersby, the San Francisco Police were able to track down Silas Patino, a 68-year-old resident of San Francisco. Patino was found in possession of a sharp-edged weapon and was taken into custody without further incident.
