Based on evidence and the victim’s account, police identified Brule and obtained an arrest warrant. He faces charges including breaking and entering, larceny, and assault and battery on an elder.

On Saturday, Detective Lieutenant Matos located Brule’s vehicle in Middletown, Rhode Island. Working with Middletown Police, officers arrested Brule in the parking lot of a Planet Fitness after he was seen leaving a nearby Burger King lot. Brule was later questioned by detectives Nicholas Davidson and Donald Cormier.

According to Somerset Police Department, Brule is being held at the Adult Correctional Institution in Cranston, Rhode Island, and is scheduled for arraignment tomorrow.
