An ATM theft has reportedly been carried out by a team of five suspects at 375 Ralph McGill Blvd in Atlanta, Georgia. The Atlanta Police Department arrived at the scene after the robbery which occurred around 1:45 am yesterday, according to their official press release. Security personnel met the officers, explaining the ATM had been robbed by three men dressed in black and masked to obscure their identities.
Further information disclosed by the APD indicated that the suspects managed to forcibly remove the ATM using a dolly, and demonstrating a brazen disregard for property, they dropped the heavy machine from a second-floor balcony. This was part of their scheme to hastily load it into a waiting pickup truck. Two additional accomplices were involved in the incident, leaving the scene in their own vehicles as they headed east on Ralph McGill Blvd NE.
As the investigation continues, the proprietor of the establishment has been informed about the break-in and theft. Detectives are piecing together what transpired in those early morning hours, looking into further details that surround the incident.
