Attention, drivers: A heads-up for those of you who use Route 370 to get around. The eastbound Route 370 exit ramp to Missouri Bottom Road is scheduled to close temporarily. Starting tomorrow through Friday, the Missouri Department of Transportation (MoDOT) will be shutting down exit #12B. The reason behind this interruption? Pavement repairs that can't wait.
This won't be a between-sunrise-and-sunset kind of deal. The ramp closure is going to be in effect around the clock from Monday morning at 9 a.m. until Friday. That means for anyone who usually take this exit, you'll need to rethink your route for the whole week. According to MoDOT's announcement, all work is weather permitting, so keep an eye on the forecast in case things shift.
MoDOT suggests taking the northbound I-270 exit ramp, which is exit #25, to hit up Route 67 (Lindbergh Boulevard), and then hang a south to get to Missouri Bottom Road. Not the most convenient detour, sure, but it's the best workaround while the pavement gets the TLC it apparently needs.
