Heads up, Atlanta drivers: a portion of East Beechwood Drive NW is gonna be off-limits for a bit tomorrow. The closure, from Northside Parkway NW to Randall Mill Road NW, is scheduled for 9:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. tomorrow, according to ATLDOT. So if you’re planning to zip through that area during these hours, you'll need to plot a new course.
The shutdown is all for a good reason, though – safety first, as they're bringing down some trees. And while no cars except locals will be getting through, those living nearby will still have access to their homes. For those who tread the sidewalks along East Beechwood Drive NW, you're gonna have to sit tight until the tree removal work is complete; the sidewalks will stay closed until then.
