
A weekend carjacking in Norwood has left residents concerned after another Uber driver was robbed at gunpoint in broad daylight. NBC Boston reported that the incident occurred last Saturday afternoon at the Windsor Gardens apartment complex. The suspects, described as 16 to 18 years old and wearing ski masks, took the driver’s Toyota RAV4 and personal belongings before fleeing. The victim was unharmed and contacted 911 for help.
Police pursued the suspects, but no arrests were made. Boston 25 News later reported that the stolen vehicle had been recovered. Norwood Police are continuing their investigation and have not announced any arrests.
Authorities are urging anyone with information to contact the Norwood Police Department as the search for the suspects continues.
