A discovery was made in Convent, St. James Parish, as deputies uncovered the body of an unidentified man in a canal yesterday morning, authorities reported. According to WWLTV, the St. James Parish Sheriff's Office received a report and subsequently responded to the scene near Highway 3125 around 11:30 a.m. to investigate the situation.
The recovery of the body was enacted by boat, and initial descriptions disclose the deceased was dressed in blue jeans with no shirt, as stated by WBRZ. As of now, the man’s identity remains unknown, and investigations into the circumstances of his death are ongoing.
