The Missouri Department of Transportation (MoDOT) has announced that the Missouri Bottom Road exit ramp to southbound Interstate 270 will be off-limits for the better part of next week. The closure is set to facilitate much-needed pavement repairs on that stretch of road, with all work dependent on the cooperation of the often-unpredictable Missouri weather.
The exit ramp from Missouri Bottom Road to I-270 will be closed around the clock starting early on November 3 and is expected to reopen on the afternoon of November 7. MoDOT has provided a detour route that uses the westbound Route 370 exit ramp, Route 141, and a turnaround to reach eastbound Route 370 and southbound I-270.
According to MoDOT, the closure is part of ongoing pavement repair work to maintain safe and reliable road conditions. Drivers are encouraged to plan for possible delays and check MoDOT’s website or social media for updates and detour details.
