Beginning Monday next week, motorists in Metairie should expect lane closures on West Napoleon Avenue. The right westbound lane between Judith Street and David Drive will be closed from 7 a.m. to 5 p.m., Monday through Friday, to allow for sidewalk replacement work, according to Jefferson Parish website.
The project is expected to continue through December 19, weather permitting. During construction, drivers will need to use the remaining open lane, and traffic delays are possible.
Jefferson Parish stated that crews will work to minimize disruptions and complete the project as scheduled. Motorists are advised to plan alternate routes or allow extra travel time while work is underway.
