Residents of the 500 block of Chateau Way in Vacaville were shaken when a home invasion robbery escalated into violence. According to the Vacaville Police Department, two suspects forcefully entered a home at approximately 2:00 PM, resulting in one adult victim receiving a gunshot wound to an extremity. The victim was transported to a local medical facility in stable condition after the harrowing ordeal.
In swift response, Vacaville PD, joined by the California Highway Patrol Air Support Unit and the Fairfield Police Department, quickly honed in on the suspects' vehicle in Fairfield, CA. Thanks to the diligent work of the Real-Time Information Center and Dispatch teams. Dandre Wilson, a 29-year-old from Sacramento, was arrested without further incident while his accomplice remains at large despite the ongoing efforts of detectives pursuing new leads that have surfaced in the aftermath of the investigation.
