The Missouri Department of Revenue has inked a new deal for the operation of the Waynesville License Office, handing over the keys to BPD Holdings, LLC. In the practical shuffle of paperwork and management, the office located at 218 Historic 66 will take a brief hiatus starting October 7, before swinging open its doors again on October 9, under its new stewardship. The familiar hours remain unchanged, welcoming customers from Monday through Friday, starting at 8:30 AM and wrapping up at 4:30 PM.
During the two-day closure for updates, the Missouri Department of Revenue (DOR) is directing residents to alternative license offices in Rolla (1038 S Bishop), Lebanon (219 N Adams, Ste F), and Vienna (211 4th Street) for vehicle documentation or licensing needs.
For those who prefer online services, the DOR offers virtual options including vehicle and watercraft registration, license plate renewal, and a Renewal Requirements Inquiry. Phone support is also available for registration services.
Additionally, the DOR’s Chatbot provides 24/7 assistance with questions about taxes, motor vehicles, and driver licensing. More information on all available services during the closure can be found at dor.mo.gov.
