
Shrewsbury had several incidents reported in the latest police crime report for last Monday through Sunday. The week began with a domestic disturbance in a parking lot on Watson Road involving a 20-year-old man and a 19-year-old woman. Both individuals were intoxicated and uncooperative, and were separated by police to resolve the situation.
Vehicle break-ins occur regularly, and on Tuesday night, a visitor in Whitehall Colonial was targeted. Stolen items included a laptop and headphones. The theft happened without any visible damage to the vehicle.
A domestic disturbance on the 7100 block of Weil Avenue resulted in the arrest of a 25-year-old woman for Domestic Assault following an argument with her mother. The daughter, who has a history of similar offenses, was taken into custody. Both individuals were provided with information on Domestic Violence resources.
A 41-year-old man from St. Louis was caught shoplifting at Walmart while concealing illicit drugs. He stated that the substance was ice. The man is already facing felony drug charges and has an outstanding warrant.
During the same week, the Shrewsbury Police Department responded to various incidents, including auto accidents and reports of suspicious activity.
