The White Pine Police Department recently announced the arrest of a wanted individual, Victor Campos Rodriguez, following a coordinated effort with the Sevierville Police Department. According to the social media post by the White Pine Police, Rodriguez was apprehended in the White Pine area after being identified as the subject of outstanding warrants.
The charges against him include Sale and Delivery of a Controlled Substance, Possession of a Weapon During the Commission of a Felony, and Unlawful Possession of Firearms, as mentioned by the White Pine Police Department.
Officers Aaron Guinn and Jonathan Sims of the White Pine Police executed the felony traffic stop which resulted in Rodriguez's capture. Officials have stated that the arrest occurred "without incident," suggesting a smooth operation that avoided further complications. Following the arrest, Rodriguez was transported to Sevier County Jail.
