Early yesterday, gunfire was reported near 2179 Cheshire Bridge Rd in Atlanta. According to the Atlanta Police Department, officers responded at approximately 3:07 a.m. Upon arrival, officers found two vehicles with bullet damage and a woman injured by broken glass, though she was not hit by the bullets. Her injuries were non-life-threatening.
Preliminary reports indicate the shooting occurred during a parking lot meet-up. No suspects have been identified, and the motive is still under investigation.
Police are asking witnesses or anyone with information to come forward to assist in the investigation.
