
A robbery and assault occurred on Halloween night at the Richdale Convenience Store on Chatham Street in Lynn, leaving a store clerk seriously injured. According to a statement from Lynn Police Department's Facebook page, officers responded around 7:21 p.m. to a report of a fight that escalated into a violent attack and theft.
Police identified the suspect as 22-year-old Joshua Mora of Lynn. He was arrested after a joint effort between the Lynn Police Department’s Patrol and Criminal Investigation Divisions and the Massachusetts State Police Violent Fugitive Apprehension Section.
Mora faces several charges, including Armed Robbery, three counts of Assault and Battery with a Dangerous Weapon, Malicious Destruction of Property Under $1200, and Armed Assault and Battery to Intimidate with Bodily Injury. The clerk was taken to a hospital, and their condition has not been released.
