
A 23-year-old man was arrested in the aftermath of a shooting in Colerain Township, which occurred on Wednesday evening following what authorities described as an argument, as per Colerain police and various reports. Ramaud Biggers now faces a charge of felonious assault in connection with the shooting.
The incident unfolded around 8:15 p.m. on the 3300 block of Alexis Road. Emergency responders discovered a man shot and lying in the street, and they swiftly transported him to the University of Cincinnati Medical Center, where he was treated for serious injuries that were deemed non-life-threatening, according to LOCAL12 and FOX19.
In a statement obtained by FOX19, Helen Tracey-Noren, a Colerain Township spokesperson, detailed that police arrived at the scene to find Biggers still present and that he was "taken into custody without incident" the exact nature of the argument that led to the shooting, however, remains unclear at this point, and the Colerain Township police are continuing their investigation into the circumstances surrounding the altercation.
