Joseph Bajoie was identified as the deceased driver of the 2005 Dodge 1500 pickup truck involved in the unfortunate incident.
According to Louisiana State Police reports, the crash took place shortly after 12:30 p.m. on Saturday, November 8. The preliminary investigation suggests the truck veered off the right side of the road, reentered it, and then swerved left, eventually colliding with a tree. Mr. Bajoie was not wearing a seatbelt at the time of the accident, which could be a critical factor in the fatal outcome.
