A 90-year-old man from Los Gatos was seriously injured last night after crashing his vehicle into the Los Gatos Coffee Roasting Company. The incident happened around 9 PM Thanksgiving night, and authorities suspect alcohol might have been a factor; however, the full scope of the accident triggers is still under investigation by the police, as reported by the Los Gatos-Monte Sereno Police Department.
The driver was alone in the car at the time of the collision and had to be extricated from his vehicle by the Santa Clara County Fire Department. Following the crash, the business was closed, and fortunately, no one was inside at the time of the incident. The man was then transported to a hospital, where he is currently in serious but stable condition. Anyone with information regarding the accident is encouraged to contact the LGMSPD at 408-354-8600.
In a separate social media post, the Los Gatos Coffee Roasting Company informed their followers about the unfortunate event, announcing their temporary closure due to the damage sustained. "Last night, a car accident caused damage to our café," they shared, affirming there were no critical injuries or fatalities from the incident.
