Yesterday, Atlanta Police Department officers were called to 1000 Park Ave NE following reports of a stabbing. Upon their arrival, they found a man in the hallway suffering from a chest wound — and despite the rapid response of Grady EMS, the victim was pronounced dead at the scene.
The Atlanta Police Department has since launched a homicide investigation to piece together the events that led to the man's death. While the officers work diligently to understand what transpired, the Fulton County Medical Examiner's office is tasked with determining the exact manner of death, said the Atlanta PD in a statement.
The identity of the victim has not yet been released pending family notification, and at this stage, details about potential suspects or motives remain scarce.
