Last Saturday at approximately 1:22 a.m., police responded to reports of a shooting at 444 Fennel Way SW. A 21-year-old woman was shot in the leg. She was found alert and conscious and was taken to the hospital in stable condition.
According to the Atlanta Police Department, the shooting was domestic in nature, and the alleged assailant was known to the victim. The Major Crimes Response Team is investigating the incident, and their work is ongoing.
