
Residents of Bartlett are currently grappling with a water outage following a water main break yesterday. As reported by WREG, the outage affects the area of Marietta Blvd. and Marietta Cv., with officials stating the necessity of shutting off water for the duration of the repair.
Public Works crews were dispatched to the scene to handle the situation and according to the information from Action News 5, the specific neighborhood impacted is the Burloe subdivision, where residents are advised that the water will remain off in both the cove and along Marietta Boulevard until the repairs can be made and while the City has not provided an exact time frame for when water service will be restored, efforts are underway to address the break as swiftly as possible.
In an update on the incident, FOX13 Memphis confirmed the location of the break at Marietta Cove, which caused the water shutoff in the area, crews are still working to repair the issue with the City of Bartlett overseeing the repair efforts.
