Last Saturday, a disturbing incident occurred near the South Campus in Berkeley. According to the Berkeley Police Department, a male victim was sexually assaulted after a stranger attempted to converse with him and subsequently forced him into a driveway on the 2300 block of College Avenue.

The suspect, attempting to leave after the interaction became unwelcome, pulled the man into a secluded area where the assault took place around 1:50 AM. Authorities are seeking a Black male in his 20s to 30s, approximately 5'10", who at the time was wearing a black beanie cap, a gray/white hooded top, and black jeans, as described by the victim.
