
Boston will host two running events this weekend, with parking restrictions in place. The Girls on the Run race will take place Sunday, starting at 9:00 a.m. on Charles Street and following a loop through the city. Parking will be prohibited on both sides of Beacon Street from Charles to Spruce Street, the north side from Charles to Arlington Street, the north side of Boylston Street from Arlington to Charles, and both sides of Charles Street from Boylston to Beacon.
As per the City of Boston website, next week, the Camp Harbor View 5K will be held Saturday next week, starting on Charles Street between the Public Garden and Boston Common. Parking will be banned on both sides of Arlington Street from Beacon to Commonwealth Avenue, the south side of Beacon Street from Charles to Arlington, and both sides of Charles Street from Boylston to Beacon.
Additionally, the Canterbury Street Bridge in Roslindale remains closed to vehicles following a MassDOT inspection. Pedestrian access is allowed, and drivers are using detour routes via Hyde Park Avenue, Cummins Highway, Rowe Street, Brown Avenue, and Seymour Street until further notice.
