On a somber note, the Boston Police Department has recently shared details regarding a homicide that took place at 30 Fremont Street in Mattapan. A 45-year-old Boston resident named Tyquan Pooler was fatally stabbed on the evening of November 15, 2025. Despite efforts to save him, Pooler succumbed to his wounds shortly after being admitted to a local hospital. The BPD reports that the suspect, 29-year-old Javonte Robinson from Mattapan, was apprehended in Hyde Park on Sunday, November 16, and is currently facing murder charges.
According to the Boston Police Department report, officers from the Boston Police Fugitive Unit located and arrested Robinson near 247 Neponset Valley Parkway. The arrest occurred as a result of a warrant issued from the Dorchester District Court for his involvement in the tragedy that ended Pooler’s life.
