On a typical grey November morning in Roslindale, the Boston Police Department's dedicated officers, eying the tentacles of the drug trade that too often ensnare our neighborhoods, made a significant bust during a drug investigation and execution of search warrants at 24 Colgate Road.

On Monday, officers from Boston’s Drug Control Units in District E-5 (Roslindale/West Roxbury) and District D-4 (South End) conducted a targeted operation. During the bust, they arrested 34-year-old Shyronn Johnson outside a known address where he had a pending warrant for Failure to Register as a Sex Offender.

Following the skirmish, a search incident to arrest led to the discovery of crack cocaine and a meager sum of cash on Johnson’s person; however, it was inside the lair at 24 Colgate Road that officers struck the motherlode – an agglomeration of narcotics comprised of 1,000 grams of Methamphetamine, 1,055 grams of Pink Cocaine, 54 grams of Cocaine, 80 grams of Fentanyl, and additional cash, as detailed in a report published on the Boston Police Department's official website.

As a result of the operation, four suspects have been arrested and face trafficking and possession charges. They are expected to be arraigned in West Roxbury District Court. The suspects include Shyronn Johnson, 34, Nicole Bilunas, 43, Hector Acevedo, 46, and Wilgen Noble Brea, 44.
