Officers from Boston Police District A-7 distributed turkeys and Thanksgiving meal supplies to families in East Boston. According to the Boston Police Department, the officers delivered the items directly to residents’ homes to provide the necessary ingredients for a holiday meal.
The effort was supported by the Boston Police Foundation’s Community Opportunity Program (COP) fund, which provides resources to assist local residents. The department released an official statement saying, "A big thank you to the Boston Police Foundation’ Community Opportunity Program’s (COP) fund for helping us provide food to those we proudly serve!"
