Two well-known Boston restaurants have closed some of their locations. ZaZiBar in the Seaport District and Zaz at City Hall Plaza have officially shut down, though the original Zaz in Hyde Park remains open, continuing to serve its Caribbean, Latin, and Asian fusion dishes, as per a report from Boston Restaurant Talk.
The announcement was made on the restaurant’s Instagram, where the owners thanked customers for their support and shared that ZaZ On Wheels, a mobile version of the restaurant, will continue operating in the Seaport area, offering lunch and late-night meals seven days a week.
Customers can still order takeout, catering, or host events at the Hyde Park location. The business has also expanded with a new Afro-Caribbean restaurant and lounge, @homebyzazpvd, now open in Rhode Island.
