A K-9 unit helped Brockton Police arrest suspects involved in an armed robbery at an AT&T store on Pleasant Street. According to a report from the Brockton Police Department's Facebook page, K-9 Hawk assisted detectives in locating key evidence that led to the arrest and charging of three individuals connected to the crime.
The incident occurred last month, when four suspects allegedly carried out the robbery. Police identified the main suspect as 45-year-old Carlos DeBarros, who reportedly used a shotgun to threaten employees while stealing cash and electronics.
Investigators later recovered stolen items, money, and a sawed-off shotgun hidden in a duffel bag, thanks to assistance from K-9 Hawk. Police also identified a getaway driver and believe additional individuals may have been involved.
The investigation remains ongoing as authorities continue to gather more information about the case.
