The city of Buckeye has announced holiday closures for Thanksgiving. All city offices, including libraries and other facilities, will be closed on Nov. 27 to 28. City libraries will also be closed on Nov. 29.
The city of Buckeye has adjusted its garbage collection schedule for Thanksgiving. Residents with Thursday collection should set out their bins on Nov. 28, and those with Friday collection should set them out on Nov. 29. Containers should be placed out by 5 a.m. on the revised collection, according to an official announcement.
The city of Buckeye reminds residents not to pour cooking grease down sinks, as it can cause sewer clogs. Used cooking oil can be dropped off at Public Works. Residents can call 623-349-6802 for more information.
